Welcome To The Harp & Whistle

The “Harp & Whistle” is a family owned and run Irish Restaurant and Bar located in the town of Newburgh in New York. We pride ourselves on the excellent customer service we provide and our warm, friendly relaxed atmosphere. We attract a mixed age group from all walks of life. Our Pièce de Résistance is our unique Irish thatched cottage that was built by architects and carpenters from Ireland.

The artifacts, signposts, musical instruments, bric-a-brac and pictures that are displayed throughout the restaurant and bar are all genuine Irish antiques imported from Ireland and Britain. Some of the articles are over 100 years old.

The menu offers gourmet style dishes at affordable prices. We offer a wide variety of food including Irish staple dishes, American favorites and seasonal specials. We have over 13 beers on tap, a vast selection of whiskies and pride ourselves on our extensive and affordable wine menu.

We offer entertainment most nights with live music, karaoke, open mic, 70's / 80's as well as "Cuddles" the Clown on Sunday's. Please check out our upcoming events calendar.
